WHIPPANY, N.J., Nov. 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Suburban Propane Partners, L.P. (NYSE: SPH), a nationwide distributor of propane, fuel oil and related products and services, as well as a marketer of natural gas and electricity, today announced the promotion of Michael A. Kuglin from Controller and Chief Accounting Officer to Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer.
In making this announcement, Suburban Propane's President and Chief Executive Officer Michael J. Dunn, Jr., said, "With this promotion, we are pleased to recognize the significant contributions made by Mike Kuglin since joining the Partnership in 2007. His proven results in all financial and accounting aspects of our business coupled with his management expertise have made him a vital member of Suburban Propane's executive team."
Mr. Kuglin has served as Controller and Chief Accounting Officer since November 2009, and as Controller since October 2007. For the eight years prior to joining the Partnership he held several financial and managerial positions with Alcatel-Lucent, a global communications solution provider. Prior to Alcatel-Lucent, Mr. Kuglin held several positions with the international accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, most recently Manager in the Assurance practice. Mr. Kuglin is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
